This is the largest Spectacled Caiman (Caiman crocodilus) I’ve ever caught! The fact that I thought this one was like a foot long when I first saw its eye glint is still hilarious to me! To catch these Spectacled Caiman (Caiman crocodilus) I had to dive from pretty far out because our boat motor was way too loud! This was such a beautiful animal to experience up close. This is the biggest Spectacled Caiman (Caiman crocodilus) I’ve ever caught! I saw the eye glint from very far away and when I got close I couldn’t see the caiman fully in the dark stained water!
